Cityscapes For Future Worlds
From comic books, to the movies and beyond, we see artistic representations of what the future may be like for us in a wide range of creative endeavours.
However, concept art is a way that an individual can really offer visualisations of dreamed up future.
Take the work of graphic designer Mike Winkelman for instance. Here he has created a series of digital illustrations that combine hyperrealism with structures based on engineering reality.
Winkelman uses Cinema 4D, Octane Renderer, X-particles, Zbrush and other tools to build these beautiful sci-fi worlds, with cityscapes that seem absolutely plausible for the generations that will one day follow us on this planet and beyond.
