Nunchuck-Wielding Karate Master Guards Restaurant Patron’s Cars

If you happen to be in Cape Town anytime soon, you might want to dine at Lefty’s Restaurant. Especially if you’ve got a hire car for the trip.

In a city known for its high crime rate, patrons of the restaurant can relax and enjoy their meal knowing that their car is protected.

Outside a nunchuck-wielding karate master known only as Master Lolo is guarding their cars.

It is a sad fact that car guards are popular in many South-African cities. The guards charge drivers a fee to look over their vehicles while they are dining or shopping.

However Master Lolo has quite the reputation. As a Congolese balaclava-wearing, nunchuck-wielding karate master he is quite formidable. Cars are extremely safe under his watch.

People need their cars protected and I have the ability to make the area safe. I am very good at it and will do it for as long as I am needed,” he told the Daily Voice.

He admits that the area has become quiet of late, meaning he has not had to fight so much. He claims that thieves know who he is and stay well clear.

People know not to make trouble here,” he said.

Every day, at 5 pm, Master Lolo dons his balaclava, grabs his nunchucks, shoves his Karambit in his pocket and patrols the front of Lucky’s, scaring off any potential troublemakers.
