1. Sentosa Island

3. Helix Bridge

This pedestrian bridge crosses from the Marina Centre to Marina South.

What makes it special is its double helix structure. What makes it extra special is the way it’s lit up at night.

A walk along the Helix Bridge at night is a refreshing way to breathe in some cool sea air after a warm and humid day in the city.

4. Singapore DUCKtours

This 1-hour tour allows you and your family to take in the city sights by both land and water.

The tour is known officially as DUCKtours and the “duck” is actually an amphibious military vehicle that was refurbished from World War II.

The duck takes riders around the city to check out well-known attractions like the Fountain of Wealth, Singapore Flyer, and the abovementioned Merlion.

5. Singapore Zoo

The Singapore Zoo’s open concept enables visitors to see animals in a more naturalistic environment.

With the exception of dangerous animals who are kept behind glass enclosures, the animals are separated from visitors by moats and low shrubs to create the maximum viewing experience.

The zoo also contains the world’s first nocturnal zoo called Night Safari. There are over 1,000 nocturnal animals on display there.

If you and your family enjoy hiking, then you’ll want to spend some time on the MacRitchie Nature Trail. It’s a scenic place to educate your kids on the flora and fauna of Singapore as you walk among rubber trees, rainforests, and tropical vegetation.
